I met Albert for the first time when I traveled to Turlock for their engagement session in February, but I've known Petra since she was a girl of about 12 and watched her grow into a beautiful woman. It was very easy getting to know Albert and I feel like I've known him just as long. It was very special to be a part of their wedding day and witness the love between them, their family and friends.
Being November we were watching the weather hoping any rain would skip Petra and Albert's wedding day. What a beautiful day it turned out to be! We started the day at their new home, so cute, a charming house on a darling tree lined street......
Petra and her Mom, Nicole, just before we headed out from the house to meet the bridesmaids and get a few photos of them together.
Look at that sky, I said it was a beautiful day. To the limo and off to the church!
A special locket holds a photo of Dad and precious memories.
In front of their many friends and family, Albert and Petra lit one candle, and vowed to cherish each other forever. I have no doubts they will!
They laugh, kiss, and look at each other with such adoration.

I had 30 minutes to photograph Heather and Jacob before they had to run off to their dinner reservations and then Senior Prom. We still managed to get some great images, of course they are young, good looking and love acting so it was easy to direct them.
